Requirements: dedicated phone number (SIM card) that is not used with Signal messenger on any other device (otherwise this registration gets invalid)
- Go to menu: View > System > Signal Messenger
- Click on Register
- Enter phone number (make sure you can receive SMS messages on that phone number)
- Solve Captcha
- Make sure to be logged out of all Google accounts (otherwise Captcha won’t show up)
- Solve captcha: https://signalcaptchas.org/registration/generate.html
- Right click > click on Inspect > switch to tab Console > copy captcha code to clipboard
- Paste the captcha code into the lobo dialog
- Click Register
- Wait for SMS with verification code
- Enter verification code
- Click Verify
- Optionally test the Signal with an external phone number that can receive Signal messages
